In these rooms, our primary goals are to support children in becoming confident learners and explorers of their environment. We emphasise building positive relationships with families to create a strong support system. We aim to help children meet their growth milestones and establish secure routines, providing a foundation of trust and consistency. Our focus is on nurturing their curiosity, encouraging them to explore their surroundings, and fostering their early development through age-appropriate activities and interactions.

For this age group, our goals are centred on important developmental milestones. A key objective is to support children in becoming toilet trained, promoting independence and self-care. We also focus on developing empathy and social skills, essential for being part of a larger community. Group play is encouraged to enhance social interactions and cooperative skills. We also prioritise language development, helping children expand their vocabulary and communication abilities and setting a strong foundation for future learning.

In the Early Learners room, our goal is to foster curiosity through exploration and learning. We introduce more structure to the daily routine, preparing children for the transition to kindergarten. This room is designed to stimulate their natural curiosity, encouraging them to ask questions, investigate, and learn through hands-on activities. Our educators create a supportive environment where children can develop critical thinking skills and build on their knowledge, setting the stage for a successful educational journey.

Led by Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers, the Kindergarten room is focused on preparing children for school. Our comprehensive kindergarten program emphasises literacy and numeracy skills, ensuring children have a strong foundation in these essential areas. We also concentrate on emotional regulation, helping children manage their feelings and develop resilience. Critical thinking and listening skills are nurtured to enhance their problem-solving abilities and attentiveness. Independence is encouraged, including self-care tasks like toileting and caring for belongings. Our goal is to equip children with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in a school environment and beyond.

Your child will be welcomed by our team of educators, who will ensure the morning transition from home to centre goes as smoothly as possible. On arrival, share information about your child’s specific needs for the day.

Our centre chefs prepare a nutritious menu for your child to sit down and eat. This is a great time for everyone to share stories from the day. Educators model healthy eating practices, social behaviours and support children’s growing independence with mealtime routines.

If you have an infant, we spend one-on-one time with them to establish a connection. Educators talk gently and respond to babies’ cues. We use songs, games, and conversations to strengthen relationships and build language skills.

Your child is naturally curious. They want to learn and explore, which is why we teach through play-based learning. It supports language, motor skills, memory, emotions and social relationships. Educators plan play-based learning experiences based on children’s interests and goals.

We match routines to your child’s individual needs. Opportunities for rest and relaxation help make them feel safe. Play-based learning experiences are provided for older children who no longer don’t sleep in centre.
